Medallion Oil Company

Medallion Oil Company is an independent oil and gas exploration and production company based in Houston, Texas. Established in 1963, Medallion drilled several of the initial discovery wells in the Lobo Trend Field in south Texas and today owns numerous overriding royalty interests in the area. Medallion has pursued diverse exploratory opportunities and has drilled and operated properties in a number of states within the U.S. including Arizona, Colorado, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Louisiana and Texas. In addition, Medallion received one of the first production sharing agreements in Mongolia.

Medallion's business objective is the exploration and development of large oil and gas prospects.
